Run for ASTI in the British 10K Run
The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery
Once again, ASTI will be taking part in the Asics British 10K Run, held this year on Sunday 10 July. We had a great bunch of runners from 2008 to 2010, and now we’re looking for our 2011 group. The race will take runners past London’s major historic landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, and Hyde Park Corner. Last year, our runners were entertained in the opening ceremony by the Blues and Royals Mounted Band and the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery.
This year, we will be welcoming back Ruby Chorbajian, whose JustGiving page can be found here. If you would like to run to support survivors and end acid violence, please contact us here. If you, like most of us here in the office, aren’t yet at a 10K fitness level, cheer on our runners instead by donating at their JustGiving pages, or here.
We’ll be keeping you updated with our progress, and pictures of the race!
Last year's run helped to raise almost £5000 to end acid violence.
