Mukta Has Her Trainers on for ASTI in the London Marathon
Mukta Dabral discovered ASTI while researching the story of acid attack survivor Katie Piper and was very touched by the stories of the acid violence survivors on ASTI’s website. “Acid attack survivors have to use the mental strength of running several marathons a day,” Mukta says. She found this thought a real inspiration to run the London Marathon this Sunday, the 17th of April. The Virgin London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet.
Mukta will be wearing ASTI’s t-shirt with pride, and her sponsorship money will help change the lives of those that have suffered acid attacks. If like Mukta, ASTI is close to your heart and you would like to run a marathon or help us raise money to help rebuilding lives, please contact us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), or visit our donations page. £50/mthwill enable survivors to receive critical reconstructive surgeries that will reduce the long-term impact of the attack on their lives.
£100/mth will allow expert medical volunteers to provide specialist training to medical practitioners in Pakistan, ensuring survivors are provided with the long-term care they need.
