ASTI Meets Avon Center for Women and Justice
On 8 July, two members of the Avon Center for Women and Justice at Cornell University Law School met with the Director, Chair and Programme Manager at ASTI’s offices in London. The meeting was arranged to discuss both organisations’ work in greater detail in hopes of opening avenues for shared research or possible project collaboration.
ASTI is pleased to report that we will be collaborating with the Avon Centre for Women and Justice on a conference on gender and justice to be held next spring in New Delhi, as acid violence will be addressed in this context.
ASTI Director Rick Trask said, “This was a great opportunity to hear more about the Center’s work and to discuss our approach to addressing acid violence as a global phenomenon.”
ASTI values its partnerships and is always looking for potential partnerships with organisations based in the UK and abroad.
