ASF-Pakistan needs your support

ASTI’s partner organisation, the Acid Survivors Foundation Pakistan (ASF-Pak) has a new website – please take a look.

ASF-Pak provides medical, psychosocial and legal support to the victims of acid attacks to ensure physical reconstruction and reintegration into the mainstream of the society. ASF-Pak also has initiatives to engage the media and overall society in the implementation of prevention activities.

Please support their vision of a country that is free of acid violence and where all survivors have access to justice and are active, autonomous members of a democratic society. Take a look at their recent appeal:

The following video tells the story of Bushra – a young woman of 18 years who was attacked when only 12 years old, after having turned down a marriage proposal. Please watch her compelling story below:

You can support ASF-Pak directly or donate via ASTI’s homepage by selecting option “D” on the donating page. Your donation will then be restricted and passed on to ASF-Pak.
