Acid Attacks in the UK
The amount of interest generated from the lastest acid attack case in the UK has reminded us that acid violence is truly an international tragedy. While Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI) has focused our attention on overseas countries we have not thought it necessary to investigate the situation here in the UK.
That has now changed. As reported by the BBC we have just begun to research the incidents of acid violence in the UK and how we might be able to utilise our experience overseas to help survivors here.
