About us
ASTI is a registered charity based in the UK. We operate as a centre of excellence supporting and working hand in hand with Acid Survivors Foundations (ASFs) in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Uganda, Pakistan and Nepal.
ASTI is the only organisation dedicated to addressing this grave abuse of human rights in an international context. We have a committed team of expert volunteers who are working to ensure that effective resources are available to support survivors in their journey, and that the human rights and dignity of survivors are upheld.
The Trustees are very pleased and honoured to announce that HRH The Princess Royal has agreed to be ASTI’s Patron from 1st January 2010. We look forward to working with Her Royal Highness and believe that her support will much enhance the difference we can make to the lives of survivors of acid violence.
A message from our founder Dr John Morrison, OBE.
